Antelope Stampede

This past Saturday, Brian found out that the Antelope Stampede, on Antelope Island was taking place (aka the Hot Air Balloon and Kite Festival).  We thought it would be fun to take the kids up and participate in the activities since it has been so long since we had been.  It was such a great time the kids had so much fun.  They played on the inflatables, they got their faces painted, they made kites, ran around and got VERY dirty.  We also watched the professional kite fliers and BMXers for a little bit.  Our treat for the day was a very yummy snow cone.  The one bummer for the day was that the hot air balloons couldn't take off, it was too windy.  But that just means we will have to try again another year.
