This past weekend, Kate and Art were married in California. We left Thursday night and drove to Mesquite, the woke up Friday morning and finished the drive. Once we arrived, we met up with J and Chris, then headed up to were the festivities would be the next day. We had a nice time chatting with family and new friends. After, we had dinner at Red Robin, followed by the group heading their separate ways for the evening. J and I stayed up practicing on my hair for the wedding. I wanted an up do, since it was suppose to be 99 degrees the next day for the outdoor wedding. The rest of the crew made it in late Friday night.
The day of the wedding, those of us that we staying at the hotel got together for breakfast in the hotel lobby. Then the women folks were off for a pedicure. We enjoyed the bonding and fun times together. At thie point, again the crew split. Everyone was off to get lunch and then get ready for the events of the evening.
Kate and Art had a wonderful wedding. They are such a beautiful couple. We really enjoyed the wedding and then the reception. There was dancing and pool time. It was a great day. The best part is that Kate said "it was a perfect day." I am so glad that we could be there to watch them take their vows.
The next morning we woke up and drove to St. George where we crashed for the evening. We finally finished our trip yesterday making it home. We were glad to be home as our rear ends were very tired and aching. We love you Kate and Art! We hope that your life together is one of joy and happiness.
