Salt Flat 100

This past Saturday was a busy but fun day.  Our day started in Wendover.  We had dropped Brian off to run with Jim the night before and stayed at the Days Inn that night.  Jim was running another 100 mile race and Bri was part of his crew.  So, the kids and I got ready, had breakfast and watched a little TV.  When I received the text that Jim was 5 miles from the finish line, we headed for the line.  As we were driving we saw Jim and Lynn, we cheered them on and then continued down the road.  About a mile from the finish we saw Shane, Sara, and Brian walking back to join Lynn and Jim.  Colin wanted to know why he dad was walking the wrong way.  We probably waited about an hour and then there was the crew.  Jim did great he finished in 29:31:30.  He looked better then he has looked crossing a 100 mile finish line.  After a few minutes of rest he put on his last smiley face.  Way to go Jim!
