SeaWorld Visits

Many of you know that SeaWorld visits Grandma Debby's work once in a while.  This past Tuesday was SeaWorld Day at Access.  The 2 kids and I rushed over there after school to see the animals that came for a visit.  It was a fun little show 'n' tell.  The animals they brought were animals from Madagascar.  The kids loved it!  The animals we met were 2 chameleons, a boa constrictor, a peregrine falcon, a lemur and an alligator.  We learned that Mallard ducks are the fastest animal when going forward in a straight line.  They can fly at speeds up to 75-80 MPH.  However, Peregrine Falcons LOVE, Mallard ducks and can bomb dive them at up to 300 MPH, WOWZERS!!!!  After the animal trainers showed the animals they brought 3 back out for people to touch.  Our brave daughter couldn't wait to get her hands on all 3.  Colin on the other hand was very hesitant, he touched the chameleon and the lemur first.  Then at the end he got brave and touched the alligator.  Thanks for having us over Grandma!!
