Tree Doctor

Every year the managers at Allstate go to the Festival of Trees to help set up the trees before the festival opens.  This year was no execption.  However, Brian's aunt Diane, had a friend setting up a tree and she caught Brian in the act of being a tree doctor.

Pumpkin Time

Last night for family home evening, we carved our pumpkins.  Both kids had a nice sized pumpkin that Neeners and Grandpa Garry had gotten for them.  Colin was really into it this year, he grabbed some of the guts with bare hands and basically carved his own pumpkin. Bri and I helped him a little bit, but he really did the majority of the work.  Audra, is not quite strong enough and therefore, Bri ended up carving the majority of her pumpkin.  Elyse, was a part of the fun and watched from her seat, as well as tried to climb into one, but it just didn't work out.  Now we have 2 great ghost pumpkins.

Lynnie's Other Lovies...

You all know that Audra has 2 pair of old PJ's that are her luvies.  She only really has them at home, but sometimes we get places and she wishes she had them.  Well, while we were at Grandma Debby's one day we were without luvies, so grandma let Audra use a pair of her PJ's for luvies.
So last week when we stopped by, Lynnie got out the luvies at Grandma's and put them on.  It was just too cute not to catch a picture of.

Scarecrow Fest

Neeners called and told me about the Scarecrow Fest going on.  She said it was free and that is was this weekend.  So Brian and I took the kids out to the festival.  I have to say there were so many people out there it was crazy.  The lines were 30 minutes a piece, other than the bounce houses.  Needless to say, the kids decided that they did not want to be there any more.  But we did get a few cute pictures before we left.  

He's Losing Them...

Two days ago, Coli's top tooth was super wiggly so we pulled it.  He was so excited to have lost another tooth.  Then yesterday, I told him I wanted to feel his bottom tooth that was still in, because Uncle Jeff (our dentist), said he would lose that tooth first.  When Colin opened his mouth I could see his adult tooth growing in behind his baby tooth.  His baby tooth was not wiggly at all.  So, I called Uncle Jeff's office and they got Coli in yesterday afternoon.  He got the royal treatment too, he even got the nitrus.  Colin was nervous to get a poke owie in his mouth but he did awesome and he now has 3 baby teeth gone.
