Easter Prep

So, for the 3 days leading up to Easter, we did a bunch of crafts, dyed eggs and spent time with Neeners.  We had a really good time over the 3 days.  The kids dyed eggs on Thursday and went through 5 dozen eggs so super fast, they were sad when the last egg went into the dye. 

Friday, we went back to Neeners and tried to make egg shaped baskets.  It was a sticky gooey mess, but the kids had fun.  However, we found out the next day that they didn't work that well.  I guess we messed something up in the process.  Mom and I also made egg shaped cake pops, some Coli safe.  These were delicious. 

Saturday, we finished up with rice krispie treats in the shape of eggs with skittles inside of them.  The kids thought it was so cool too.
