Our Weekend in Logan

This past weekend, we went up to Logan so Brian could run the Logan Peak race.  But the best part was, my aunt and uncle let us crash at their home and we got to spend time with the family.  We arrived Friday night and Chris, Chrissie and Claire came up from St. George.  We missed Uncle Craig, as he was at the Herriman fire.  But we had fun talking, watching the kids play and eating dinner.
Saturday morning, I took Bri to his race then went back to the house.  Aunt Tammy and I made breakfast then took the kiddos over to Bountiful Baskets as we helped sort out the baskets that morning.  Then we went over to the park where Chris, Chrissie and Claire were playing.  The kids had fun running around there.  After, we went back to the house, where we waited for Shaun to make it from the airport.  (Shaun lives in Washington, D.C.)  The kids played hide and seek with Uncle Craig and Chris, which brought many squeals of delight.  Shaun made it in and we headed to the park which was the finish line for Bri's race.  We enjoyed lunch while the kids played and we waited for Bri.  Bri made it across in 7:58:43, his goal was between 7.5 - 8 hours.  He made it.  Following showers and naps, Bri and the kids stayed at the house for some down time, while I went with the Pettigrews to dinner at Kabuchi's.  It was a fun night out with my family.  We ended the evening with an ice cream cone from Aggie Ice Cream.  YUM!
(I feel this picture needs an explanation, Shaun was teasing Lynnie that he had found new shoes.)
Sunday, we headed home after a nice breakfast.  We relaxed at home after our little adventure to Logan.  It really was a nice time to see and be with family.  Thanks Aunt Tammy and Uncle Craig for being so great to us.
