So Big

This past week Audra turned five months old. Were does the time go? It doesn't seem so long ago that I was pregnant with her and wanting to meet this little girl. But she has been with us now for 5 months, and I am so glad to have my princess. She is developing so much and it is so fun to watch her learn and grow and explore this world. She has started sitting and she is doing well, I think that she is well on her way to having it mastered. She blows razz-berries and giggles at peek-a-boo. As I have watched her these past few days I wonder, what will she be like when she is Colin's age and what will she be when she grows up? I look forward to those times, but I don't want them to come too soon, I love all the stages and want to enjoy EVERY minute.

Divas Cupcakes

The Garden
About a month ago, my mom found out about Divas cupcakes. They are wonderful in our world because they make Vegan cupcakes, so they are Coly safe. But the very cool thing is, they have Story time and a Cupcake, once a month. So, the kids listen to a cute book then they get a little cupcake after. So, yesterday we went to Divas and had a good time. The cupcakes were SOO delightful. I want to go back for more. We are going to go next month, which will be December 8, at 3:50 pm. Please join us if you want to experience this wonderful opportunity. Here are a few shots from yesterday.

A week reviewed

This last week seemed so busy, but I wanted to write a few memories for the week. Monday was a fast day, not much other then the typical day. Tuesday, my cousin needed a sitter for the day, so I took Jaxon for the day. Yup, I had 4 kids in my house 3 boys - 2.5 years, 1.5 years and 15 months. You can guess it was a little crazy but it was sure fun to have Jaxon for the day. Wednesday started by me plugging Colin's nebulizer into the wall and having it short out the plug that the TV went to. Not so great when the boys like to watch movies. That night Colin went to Disney on Ice and came home with a dragon breathing fire sword. While Bri and I kind had a date night, Pizza and a movie. That was a nice treat. Thursday - Coly had a play date with Devin. Devin has food allergies as well and so it was nice for the boys to get to play with someone with the same issues. Friday, flew by with Audra being sick and trying to keep the 2 boys from fighting. Gar came over and fixed our plug, YAY! On Friday night, I lost Charlie. I was trying to scoop him up to clean the bowl and he landed in the sink. I tried to grab him and he went down the drain. So sorry Charlie. Saturday I went to a Stampin' Up! event, it was customer appreciation day and we made a free flower clip. Then we had Steve and his daughter Grace come over for street tacos. Grace, 3 years old, was so cute she was playing waitress and Colin didn't grasp idea. She would give Colin an invisible food. I would tell Colin to take it, he would. Then he would just look at his hand so confused. So darling. Sunday, we had Robyn, Brandon and their 2 boys over for dinner. Colin loved have 2 big boys to jump and rough house with. It was great to see them and catch up on all the new events in each others life.

Hogle Zoo

For the past 3 days or so, Colin has been telling us that he wants to go down to Thanksgiving Point for the water toy or go on a train. Bri and I figured that this meant that we had not done something fun, recently and he just need a fun day. So, we decided that we would take Coly and Audi to the zoo. On the way up there, Coly kept saying train, train, me train. The very first thing that we decided to do was go on the train, man can I say that when I was a kid that ride was a much longer ride then it was today. After the ride, we decided to see the animals. Colin was so funny, he would get his mind one animal and that was it, there was no looking at any other animal. He loved the monkeys, tigers and was interested in the meerkats. He sure enjoyed playing on the playground as well.

Yummy Bits!

You know those fabulous rolls of fat on the upper thigh, that 4-5 month old babies get. Well, in our family we call them yummy bits. They are so cute and you just can't help tickling that spot. Well, Audra is at the age that her yummy bits are fully developed and I love them. She is not into having them tickled right now, but one day she will be.

Trick-or-Treat

Well, today was Coly's 3rd Halloween and Audra's 1st. Coly has had a cold the last 3 days and started feeling better today, so we were able to take him out today for a little Halloween fun. We went over to NeeNers and Grandpa's house were Coly helped make popcorn balls and watched a cartoon monster show on TV. Then we went over to Grandma Debby and Grandpa Steve's house, grandma was the only one there but Coly sure had a good time playing. After, dinner we took Coly out trick or treating. This was the 1st Halloween were Coly has really gone trick-or-treating, we decided that we couldn't keep him away any longer because of his allergies. He LOVED it. He would say "mom, treat more." He loved going to get candy and he would say his little "tank too." To end the night we went over to GG's and spent an hour or so there. The icing on the cake though was when Coly took Audra's princess crown and put it on his head in the car. So, here is Coly with Aud's crown.

Heber Creeper

A couple weeks ago Grandpa Garry called and said that he had gotten discount tickets for the Heber Creeper, and was going to take us on it. Since, Brian was going out of town for a week, Grandpa wanted to go as soon as Bri got back. So, Bri got home last night and this morning we were on our way to the Heber Valley Railroad. It was very cold up there as we started our day, but that didn't stop Colin. He was saying "me train." He was just so excited to get on the train, but we were early so we had to walk around for a little bit looking at the older cars, engines and other railroad equipment. It was a 3 hour out and back trip through the Provo Canyon and we had the whole car to ourselves going out and a few people joined us coming back. I really believe that Colin had a great time riding the train, but this was not only was this Colin and Audra's first time on a real train, it was Bri's too. He had a great time seeing the Provo Canyon and walking around while traveling. Thanks Grandpa Garry and NeeNers for the fun trip.
