New Years

This year for New Years, we asked Lindsey if we could have Carter Man.  Then we went over to Neeners and Grandpa Garry's house.  J and Chris were there too, so trying to get as much time with them, we thought it would be a good way to spend New Years Eve.  Grandpa Garry and Neeners had also put a lot of time and energy into getting a home version of "Minute to Win it" ready, so we could play.  I am so glad that they did this, as it was so much fun.  We had some challenges that we did single and others as a team.  Couples were paired up and the kids were all a team.  At the end of the night J and Chris took first, we took second.  The kids each got a little power ranger and we all were thrilled.
At midnight, we took the kids out to the front and banged pots and pans, yelling "Happy New Year."  The kids then watched as we drove home all the fireworks going off over the valley.
New Years Day, we drove up to Papa and Bana's house, too watch the game and just relax.  It was a nice time chatting with the sibling and folks.  Bri got to watch some football, which we all know he LOVES.  It was a nice time just relaxing and being with the family.  Happy New Year to all!
