Feeding the Ducks

A few weeks back, Lindsey and I took Colin and Audra over to Wheeler Farm for the DDI Vantage summer party. We showed up a little late and by the time we did 1-2 activities they were closing down the shop. We did get to ride the wagon, but did not see the animals or feed the ducks. I told Colin we would come back at some time and feed the ducks. Well, my little guy has a good memory because he has reminded me that "We need to go feed the ducks." So, yesterday after my meeting at church we packed the kids up with a loaf of bread and went to feed the ducks. It was a beautiful day and it just seemed like a good Sunday activity.
Colin loved throwing the bread, as did Audra, but she would sneak a piece for herself every few pieces. It was a little unnerving at couple of times, as the big mean geese would get really close to her an they stand taller than her, so we would have to grab her and pull her back. After feeding the ducks we walked around and looked at the farm animals. I then had the kids pose for this picture, it was a joke trying to get them to look at me. OH WELL!
We have one more activity to get to, before the summer really ends, that is to see dinosaurs, Colin reminds us of that too.
